Gretsch nashville pro steel amp

Post by Ron Murray »

I bought a brand new one in 1975. It had a altec 15"
speaker in it. I loved it. Unfortunately the reverb
went out and i got rid of it. For 30 years i have
wanted another one because to me it is the tops.
Around 2 years ago i found out Brad Sarno had one
and had replaced the caps in it and put a high end
altec 15" speaker in it. Now it is mine and i will
never sell it. :!:

I just found out that my band and I will be backing up Bob Fredrick at the 17th Annual Quad Cities Steel Show. I am thinking about possibly playing my Tele through the Nashville pro steel I think it is a great lead amp as well as a great steel amp. I had to put castors on it because of the weight. Man the amp could probably survive a bombing.

Here is a pic of mine. I should have shut my flash off though, it shows quite a few imperfections... But hey I got one and it sounds great.

This amp has been serviced by Woody Woodell, and it now performs flawlessly. Reverb is as deep as you ever would want, and luuuuush!!

Hi friends,

I recently acquired one of these Nashville Pro Steel amps. Does anyone know what year they were made?
Thanks, Dave
