Kumu Kahi - Open D - 1919 Hawaiian tune

Here's a tune from the earliest days of acoustic Hawaiian steel guitar. Written in 1919 and republished in 1938 in the Kamiki method book. I rearranged it slightly and moved it from Open A tuning to Open D. The computer-generated audio doesn't come close to the vibrato and warmth of a steel performance but it gives the idea. Play it achingly slowly.
