New CD for TSGA show in March

Post by Mike Sweeney »

New CD Alert!
Good morning everybody. I just wanted to do a little shameless self-promotion today about a NEW CD titled "Let It Be Me" I have coming out in March at the TSGA show.
I've been working on and off with this project since late summer of 2023. And I think this will be a dandy.
First let me thank Alan Copenhaver for his talents and expertise in recording and mixing, as well as his guitar and sax playing. The same is true for Bill Schell for use of his studio, his recording skills, and when asked, his bass playing skills.
I want to thank David Graves for his wonderful piano work. And Memory Maker Ward Ward Brian Stout for his great fiddle playing.
I also have some songs with vocalists on this CD that I'm proud to have included and proud to call friend. Laney Hicks, Bart Hanson, Brian Sherry Strange Sterling , Brandon Harris , Tom Buller, Sean Carson , Damon Gray .
The rest of the musicians are;
Bass- Gage Boecker , Bill Schell, Ric Boyer
Drums- Mark Fitch
Piano- David Graves
Guitars- Alan Copenhaver, Brian Sterling
Fiddle- Ward Stout
Yours truly on steel guitar.
Here is the list of songs.
1. I'm Still Not Over You
2. Midnight Cry
3. Everybody Loves Somebody Sometimes
4. If My Heart Had Windows
5. I'll Break Out Again Tonight
6. All My Lovin
7. High Cost Of Leaving
8. Volare
9. What Comes Natural To A Fool
10. Flintstones
11. The Lady Takes The Cowboy
12. I Bowed On My Knees
13.Close Every Door Behind You
14. Who's Heart Are You Breaking Now
15. Let It Be Me

This CD will be released at the TSGA show in Fort Worth in March. Hope to see you there.
Zumsteel steel guitars, Peavey Nashville/Session and Nashville 112 amplifiers, Nux, and Boss effects, and GHS strings.

What song is Laney singing? Since I won’t be able to do Dallas, I guess I’ll have to have you mail me one!
